As most of you know, Justin has started his busy traveling season with work and I've been promoted too head zookeeper. WOW...what an insane week! My husband finally came home this evening after being away for nine days, and I will be able to sleep peacefully for the first time in a while (I never sleep too well when he is gone). Anyway, as I went through last week, I was often struck with awe as I think about all the single Mom's in the world. HOW DO THEY DO IT? My Grandma was one of these moms. And oddly enough, she had 3 kids--one boy, 2 girls like me...all close in age like mine. I greatly admire her strength and her courage for what she did! As I would become frustrated and overwhelmed, I would think of her, take a deep breath, and keep going. Thanks Grandma for being such a wonderful example of patience, beauty, and motherhood...
